Description
This well established picturesque 4 acre lake is our jewel in the crown. It is located at the end of School lane off Church Road in the sleepy village of Alresford, (basic map given in membership package). The lake is fishable from all banks in any of the 41 pegged out swims. The depth ranges from 3 foot at the cottage end and deepens to 12 foot at the footpath end. The weed can be dense in places giving good features to cast to and being tree lined there is plenty of bank side cover. The lake holds most species of fish including Carp (common, mirror, crucian and grass) Tench, Bream, Rudd, Roach, Perch, and Pike with many specimens recorded in recent years.
