Member Mr. Richard Young has been to the Golf Club Lake 3 again and has caught these two Carp.
First a fully scaled Mirror at 17lb and second a Common at 21lb 8oz.  


 
 

Member Mr. Bill Elsom caught this 1lb 6oz Roach on the Rectangle at St. Osyth and the Bream of 5lb from Wix.
He thought they would give some idea of the variety of fish that are in our waters.

a change that was worth while making as he has caught
a Grass Carp that just tipped the scales at 20lb.

They went in at around 10lbs and have been putting on weight, on the left 33-9-0 and on the right 14-0-0.

bottomed out at 22lbs.

One of our very few women members Mrs Sue Heffernan who recently caught the big Catfish from Home Farm, Ardleigh.
The Catfish weighed in at 43lb 3oz, the Bream was between 4 - 5 lb, and the Common Carp was 14lb 8oz.
The Cat was caught at 5am, the Bream at 4.15am and the Common at 5.30am.

off the surface. "The Wood Carving" Home Farm, 21lbs+ off the top. "Football", Home Farm, 25lbs 8oz off the top. "Parrot", a Common
from Home Farm, 21lbs caught on a single pop up. A Mirror from Alresford, 17lbs, caught off the top. A Common from Alresford, 21lbs,
caught off the top. Lastly, a Common from a few years ago, "Mint Fish", caught at the Golf Club weighing 23lbs.
