Description

This well established picturesque 2 acre lake is one of four lakes situated within the grounds of the Stoke by Nayland golf club (basic map given in membership package). The lake is fishable strictly from the sixteen designated swims. The depth ranges from 12 foot at the 11th tee bank and shallows up to 2 foot at the wooded end. There is no weed growth, but with plenty of bank side cover on one bank and trees lining another, fishing the margins is ideal. The lake is our silver fish fishery, boasting a large head of quality Roach, which by today’s standards is rare. Along with the Roach are a few Bream, Tench, Carp and Pike.
