Description
This newly created 4 acre irrigation lake is located in the village of Wix, just off the A120 to Harwich (basic map given in membership package).
The lake is fishable from all banks in any of the pegged out swims. The depth ranges from 6 foot in the margins deepening to 20 foot in the middle.
There is some weed growth and we are trying to establish reed beds and trees to give some bank side cover.
The lake holds most species of fish including Carp (Common & Mirror) Tench, Bream, Rudd, Roach, Perch and Gudgeon.
Rules
Night fishing allowed with night permit only. Open all year round. Fishing is allowed during the following times on the dates as follows:
MAY TO SEPTEMBER inclusive - 5.00am - 10.00pm
OCTOBER TO APRIL inclusive - 7.00am - 8.00pm
PARKING: inside the gate only. Strictly NO PARKING IN THE LANE.
