Description
This 2 acre lake is our bag-up fishery where match weights of 100lb plus are common place. It is located on the left hand side of the lane leading to Lodge Farm opposite Pump Hill Garage St Osyth (basic map given in membership package).
The lake is used for irrigation purposes hence in summer the water level drops from 12 foot down to as little as 3 foot. It is fishable from all banks but has no designated swims.
There is no weed and very few features to cast to especially in summer with the low water levels.
The lake holds mainly small Common Carp (some Mirrors), Rudd, Roach and a few skimmer Bream, Perch, Tench and Crucians.
Rules
NIGHT FISHING IS NOT ALLOWED ON THIS LAKE
Open all year round. Fishing is allowed during the following times on the dates as follows:
MAY TO SEPTEMBER, inclusive - 5.00am - 10.00pm
OCTOBER TO APRIL, inclusive - 7.00am - 8.00pm
Fishing in both lakes, to the left and right of Lodge Lane.
PARKING: on grass verge or car park, no parking, loading or unloading on the new road or layby unless fishing a Sunday club match.
